Repurpose Produce Bags

When I grocery shop I often get these plastic web bags. I feel terrible when I throw them away and that I’m not being resourceful, but alas inspiration has struck!
1.Remove the paper label from the end of the plastic net bag, this will give you a tube to work with.
2.Grab a scrap of fabric and fold it around one end of the tube, sew in place. I zigzagged it and then for reinforcement I straight stitched it.
3.For the top I was going to just zigzag some bias tape to finish the edge but realized it would be better with a thin piece of elastic inside the tape. This makes it easy to slip the produce inside and keep it there.
If you are not into altering things, just simply keep the web bags as they are and reuse them. It’s a great way to cut down waste and be resourceful.
What are things you reuse that are creative and fun?
